Vancouver BC buildings in the downtown core Burrard and Georgia st. This image is an HDR of three images. The angle was wide so I corrected to straighten it up. The fog of that day created a great atmosphere but the traffic on the street was ruining the shot. So I blended the image with a vertical motion blur to remove the distraction of the street

Mount St. Helens
I was with my family visiting Mount St. Helens. I was amazed at the destructive power of the mountain's famous eruption of May 18, 1980. But more impressive was seeing how nature was rebuilding the environment around the destruction. I thought the shot exemplified nature's ability to rebuild itself. I liked how the log led my eyes to the mountain as if it was pointing out the culprit of such devastation while the new flowers next to it were the focal point of the shot.

Went on a Meetup with a group of photographers to take pictures at Tower Beach in Vancouver, British Columbia. As I turned around I saw Rick taking a shot from the rock and took the shot. I usually don't take pictures of other photographers as it is a bit of a cliche but in this case I really liked the composition.

Sundial from Van Dusen Gardens turned into a medieval mystical image. This sundial was in a plain garden, the pedestal was green and the sundial was a bit boring. So I decided to have some fun with it.
